In case you missed the memo, the 2013 O Music Awards were, how shall we say, LONG. But, if you accidentally conked out during Wednesday’s 24-hour music extravaganza, we’ve got highlights from the evening right here! Aside from Night Riot’s performance of “London,” our eyes were glued to actor/singer/dancer/former V-Factory member Asher Monroe and his “Hush Hush” performance.
Watch Asher Monroe perform “Hush Hush” at the O Music Awards after the jump.
Performing to a packed crowd, the “Why Worry” singer stormed the OMA stage and all but annihilated everyone and everything around him. (The good kind of annihilate! The kind that makes you jealous you don’t have that sort of stage presence and/or jawline.)
Singing with a full band, Asher nailed his vocals and pulled off some admirably tight harmonies with his backup vocalists. Essentially what we’re trying to impart here is that if you smashed a dab of Robin Thicke‘s falsetto with a dash of Hot Chelle Rae‘s pop-rock sensibilities, it would come out sounding just like Asher Monroe. In a custom blue suit. Withmiraculously voluminous hair. It’s like magic!
